CESL Today, CESL's student newspaper, has just published volume 65 (term 062) in both online versions and paper version (available at the CESL office). Please help yourself to as many as you can use...send some home! We are proud of our work- we have worked hard to make articles that are interesting to everyone- and, at all levels, from GSE to GE. We use what you put on the class weblogs- please keep it up! - and, we use your name, unless you ask us not to. Thank you for contributing to CESL Today!

Friendship Plaza
The City of Carbondale recently unveiled its new sculpture, shown here (picture by Dave More), at the busiest intersection in town, Mill Street and South University Avenue. The statue commemorates international friendship and global awareness, and will have special plaques for each of our sister cities, Nakajo, Japan, Shimla, India, and Tainan City, Taiwan.
I'm proud to live in a city that puts its international awareness right up front!
