Once in (make sure "enable chat" is checked),
you'll be in the Reception Area. Look up to the right under
"Featured Passageways" and find the "Comfy Conference Room"
and click on it. You're here! If no one greets you, wait a minute!

EAP2 has been chat pioneers this term. Any questions? Ask them! They're good at it. We teachers are kind of slow to pick up on it, but we're learning...be patient!

Here are some things to remember:
1. It's fast. There may be several conversations at once.
2. It all goes on a transcript which is available to members.
3. Grammar & spelling problems are common & permitted.
4. There's a world of emoticons; you may not understand them all!
5. American students, teachers, alumni, others - all welcome. It's a social experience! Tell your friends.
6. I believe it's good for your reading-writing fluency...write and tell me what you think...it's an open question.
